Jomsom Muktinath Trek Highlights
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by a representative from Marron Treks and then transferred to your designated hotel. Once at the hotel, you are greeted with welcome drinks. We will then have a quick pre-trip meeting, where you are briefed on the trekking itineraries and some formalities that ought to be pursued. Depending on the time remaining, you can either rest or stroll around the vicinity of your hotel to get the feel of this busy, colorful and energetic capital of Nepal. Early in the morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a tourist bus. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, offering glimpses of rural life, terraced fields, and stunning views of the Himalayas (weather permitting). The drive is around 200 kilometers (125 miles) long and usually takes between 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.
The bus will finally arrive at the tourist bus park in Pokhara and you will check-in hotel in Pokhara. The rest of the time is rest at hotel or you are free to explore Pokahra if you wish.

Early in the morning, we will continue our picturesque mountain flight to Kagbeni after breakfast at the Pokhara hotel. It just takes about 20 minutes to get to Jomsom with this amazing trip.
Known for being the windiest area in the nation, Jomsom is a lovely community. The area offers a ton of amazing adventure activities. The hamlet settlement is home to a variety of lodges, teahouses, hotels, and administrative buildings.
Following our arrival in Jomsom, we will carry on traveling through more breathtaking scenery. We are going to hike to the village after crossing the Kali Gandaki. Situated on the banks of the Kali Gandaki and Nilgiri rivers is the settlement of Kagbeni.
The hike will be difficult due to the strong winds in the area, but you will get the best view. One of the important locations along the ancient Trans Himalayan salt trading route is Kagbeni. Following a lavish and delectable breakfast at Kagbeni, we will begin our walk towards Muktinath. The path ascends the valley before reaching the high desert. The Temple of Salvation is another name for the Muktinath Temple. Numerous visitors from the Buddhist and Hindu communities visit the temple to offer prayers.
A tiny pond, 108 waterspouts, and a number of smaller temples are also located on the temple grounds. It's commonly thought that the water from the pond and spouts can atone for your sins from previous lives. For this reason, the Muktinath temple is a significant piece of the nation's religious heritage. On the premises, there is also an eternal fire that burns naturally. After finishing our daily routines, we shall set off on our journey from Muktinath to Marpha. You will travel via a variety of amazing trails that wind through the Kali Gandaki Valley, passing through verdant farms and poplar trees.
The trail offers a variety of difficulties, but you will also get to see the stunning scenery in the area. Outstanding apple orchards are another feature of Marpha. We'll get up early to witness a breathtaking dawn with a view of the Himalayas before beginning our trip from Marpha to Kalopani. To get there, we'll travel through a stunning pine forest and along a precipice.
The trail follows the riverbed before climbing a hillside, going through a forest, and finally returning to the river. After taking a break for lunch at Tukuche, we will resume our journey across a variety of difficult terrains. We stay the night in Kalopani, which is a stunning village. We will begin our hike on this day, heading down the valley's slope through arid scenery until joining a track through forests. It will take us a few hours to reach our goal of reaching Tatopani.
Tatopani is a wonderful place to unwind where you may take a swim in the naturally heated spring. This can help you relax after a strenuous trekking adventure and release your tired muscles. We will begin our hike to Ghorepani from Tatopani, a natural hot spring, on this day. Ghorepani is an exquisite Gurung hamlet community. The trail becomes comparatively easier as you hike through these areas to reach Ghorepani. All hikers will be enthralled by the breathtaking vistas of the snow-capped mountains along the path.
It will support you in staying positive and inspired while hiking. They'll give you the best time possible as you climb these trails. The route then passes the Kali Gandaki and passes through verdant farmland and village villages with the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop. To witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises in the area, we will go up to Poonhill. It offers views of the surrounding natural landscapes as well as the whole snow-capped Himalayas. We will create lifelong memories by snapping as many photos as possible. In the end, we'll head back to Ghorepani for breakfast. We'll walk carefully while we take in the area's natural splendor.
After there, the trail passes through a rhododendron woodland until arriving at a steep cliff. It would take us several hours of trekking to reach Nayapul. We shall begin our tour at Nayapul after lunch at Hile. We will take a private vehicle to return to Pokhara after reaching Nayapul, which should take two hours. After breakfast drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara by a tourist bus retracing the same highway route which you took earlier. Upon reaching Kathmandu, check-in hotel and the rest of the time is free to explore or rest. In the evening is Farewell Dinner at one of the authentic Nepali Restaurant with a cultural show.
