Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you need to accomplish your entry/visa formalities. You will then be received by a representative from Marron Treks and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome drinks will be served at the hotel and then we will have a quick pre-trip meeting. You can then spend the remaining time resting or as you please. In the evening you can stroll around the vicinity of your hotel just to get the feel of this wonderful city. Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (822m/25 min)

We leave Kathmandu by flight to Pokhara. Flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range and the lush landscape of Nepal. The flight typically takes around 25-30 minutes, making it a convenient and scenic way to travel between the two cities.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll be greeted by the serene beauty of the city, which is situated on the shores of Phewa Lake and offers stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. Pokhara is known for its relaxed atmosphere, adventure activities, and natural attractions. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara (Breakfast)

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Jomsom (2720m/8-9 hrs) 

This will be an 8–9 hour drive, with several stops for breaks. You will go on the main road until you reach Beni, at which point you will pull off and travel through a mountain and riverside to reach Tatopani, a natural hot spring. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and other mountains throughout the trek from Tatopani. One of the highlights of the visit will be arriving in the Annapurna region.

 

You will arrive in Jomsom, the capital and largest little city of Mustang, in the late afternoon. Jomsom is well-known for its apples, and several apple gardens can be seen there. It is situated between a mountain and the Kali Gandaki River. Take some time to investigate the riverbank. Overnight at Lodge in Jomsom (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 04: Drive from Jomsom to Muktinath (3760m/2 hrs) & back to Jomsom (2 hrs)

We have an easy day ahead of us as we travel to Muktinath. After breakfast, you will drive along the Kali Gandaki River's bank and bridge it to enter the Kagbeni Valley. In addition to being the hub of trade into Tibet, Kagbeni is an ancient settlement home to people of Tibetan descent.

By taking a detour via the desolate mountain, you will get at Muktinath, which is the ultimate destination for humans on Earth. See the sacred temple, take in the ceremonial performances, or take a dip under the 108-degree water tap before returning to our hotel. Then drive back to Muktinath for overnight stay.

Day 05: Drive from Jomsom to Pokhara (822m/8-9 hrs) 

There isn't another alternative route that can be driven that is comparable to the one you took to reach Jomsom from Pokhara earlier. You will arrive in Pokhara in the late afternoon after passing through picturesque villages, rivers, and waterfalls. The evening is yours to explore Pokhara and return to your accommodation. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara (Breakfast/Lunch)

Day 06: Fly or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400m/25 min flight/6-7 hrs drive)

Flying back from Pokhara to Kathmandu offers another opportunity to enjoy the stunning aerial views of the Himalayas and the picturesque landscape of Nepal. The flight typically takes around 25-30 minutes. 

Alternatively, driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu is also an option which takes around 6-7 hours depending on road conditions and traffic. The road journey offers the chance to see more of the countryside and experience the diversity of Nepal's terrain.

Once you're back in Kathmandu, check-in hotel and the rest of the time is free to explore or rest. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu (Breakfast)

Day 07: Final Departure

Today is your final day in Nepal. It is advisable to reach the airport three hours before your flight. A representative of Marron Treks will escort you to the airport for your final departure. If you wish to extend your trip,

During the trek, you will be accommodated in a Tea House/ Lodge or Trekking Inn. Most of these lodges and teahouses cater good services and are equipped with modern amenities. We will endeavor to provide you the best accommodation available along the route so that you get a good night’s rest in a hygienic milieu.

 

Meals
We never compromise with the quality of food and the health of the trekkers as well as the crew members. Generally, we opt for the fresh and nutritional local community food available in the Annapurna Region. You could make your delicious pick from an array of traditional food like Sweet Potato, Buck Wheat Barley etc. . This way, you could not only get the real sense of the local culture and life patterns but also contribute to promoting the locally available resources of organic food and beverages. Besides, a wide range of Continental, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisines like Pizza, Spaghetti, French Fries, Soups, Breads, Masala Curry etc. are also available in the restaurants for your retreat.
