We went with Marron Treks on the Kanchenjunga Trek on october 2014
We went with Marron Treks on the Kanchenjunga Trek on october 2014. We chose them because of the good deal they offered and got much more in return. They helped custom the trek according to the limited time we had. All of the time we didnt have to worry about a thing, they took care of all of the logistics and left us to enjoy the trip. The team that accompanied us were very kind and tolerant to our needs. We truly recommend to go with marron treks!

Dear Shikhar First I want to thank you for the Kanchenjunga Trek.

Dear Shikhar
First I want to thank you for the Kanchenjunga Trek. The trek was quite difficult mainly going up and down. But it was very well planned as for the slow acclimatization to the heights. The landscape all over the trek was exceptionally beautiful- during the first days a lot of waterfalls and forests followed by going up one of the days 1700 m and at the end of the day sleeping in tents The tents were of high quality as were the sleeping bags and enabled us to survive the snow storm at height of 4580 at Ramche. The guide was very helpful and the porters were part of the team.

Our days in Nepal were unbelievable and unforgettable….
OCT 4 – 18, 2014 – Our days in Nepal were unbelievable and unforgettable, and the Marron Treks staff deserves all the kudos for that. Everything was fine and well-prepared, when in cities and also in the mountains. Even when we faced some problems during our trekking, everything was arranged in a way we could complete it without any additional problems neither frustrations.

We surely and definitively can recommend Marron Treks if you are planning a visit to Nepal, in the city or in the mountains. Hopefully we can hire your services again in a near future.

We attempted the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in October, 2014.
We attempted the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in October, 2014. Due to weather and illness, we didn’t reach ABC, but we are still happy to recommend Marron Treks. Shikhar Berma answered our questions quickly, handled our arrangements and permits, and supplied us with a top quality guide and porter. Our guide Prem Dorje Tamang and porter did everything possible to make sure we had a good trip even though we couldn’t reach ABC. If we ever go to Nepal again, we will contact Marron Treks, and we will ask for Prem Dorje Tamang to be our guide.

It was really a wonderful visit to Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Darjeeling through your agency.
Mr. Ram and Marron Staffs, Namaste and I would like to thank you very much for your kind support. It was really a wonderful visit to Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Darjeeling through your agency. I travel to Nepal and many other countries and have found so many peoples, but you and your staffs are the best I’ve found. I and my friends had a good experience and the nice thing about is you treated us like family. I think this is the most important to know the Nepal and nepali. At last thank you once again and we look forward to visit you in near future and I will do my best to promote you and your country Nepal.

I am so happy that our trip to Nepal was arranged and guided by your company, Marron Treks.
I am so happy that our trip to Nepal was arranged and guided by your company, Marron Treks. From our first email contact your staff was knowledgeable, positive and accomodating. Doug and I had a lot of territory to cover and things to accomplish in a relatively short time. We were quite demanding, wanting things changed from the standard treks, speeding up the pace to get to a photographic vantage point of the Annapurna Range, slowing down to get more shots of monkeys and water buffalo, making last minute changes as to where we would end the day or whether we would go by air or road. All the while, you and your staff always did the intelligent thing to keep us safe and comfortable and where we wanted to be.

Our eleven-year-old son, who has recently made a slide show about the trek for his sixth grade class, had a wonderful experience in Nepal, largely thanks to you! He loved to race ahead on the steep and sometimes slippery trails, and you stayed by his side, joking and laughing, and made sure that he didn’t outdistance his energy and abilities. You and your staff were kind enough to join him in card games in the evenings; those rounds of “spoons” were truly hilarious and kept all of us in good spirits.

Your expert knowledge of the area was immediatley obvious and made us very comfortable. Likewise, your friendly nature and camraderie with the porters and sherpa on your staff and with everyone we encountered along the trail made the journey pleasurable for our family and left anyone we met smiling.

We think about you and our trip to Nepal and we’re very grateful for the experience. Wishing you, Purda, Dawa, Sanjip, “little” Ram and everyone at Marron Treks all the best. We hope we will have a chance to travel with you again.

Nepal had been a remotest country for me until I came here
Although my husband has been here for trek many times, Nepal had been a remotest country for me until I came here in October 2008. What made me come here?because my husband had an accident in the mountain and got seriously sick, I had to fly to Kathmandu to meet him in the hospital. Thanks to the devoted care of the doctors and nurses, he got better quickly. At that time I was really moved by the warm hospitality of Nepali people. Since then beauty of Nepal nature and people had stayed in my heart. At last, I came back to Nepal with mybest friend in November 2009, one year after the accident. And we decided to have some short treks in Pokhara, to visit Lumbini for the Buddha’s birthplace and to visit Chitawan for jungle safari. We also visited Nagarkot for the fantastic morning mountain view. We are very much impressed by the scenic beauty of Nepal. We thank mr . Ram Kumar Adhikari for his careful, cheerful escort and kind arrangement for our trip. Ram-san enhanced our experience in Nepal. Beautiful Nepal will stay in our heart forever.

The Everest Trek towards the Shyangboche was a great experience…
Hi ! Ram San and Pema. The everest trek towards the shayangboche was a great experience. And I know it would be very difficult for me to do the same trek again. One can do this trek with lots of anticipation. However, trek from Lukla Monjo to Thamuseruku between the mountains was unforgettable. I am sure I can make my next trip to Annapurna Region. Thank you very much once again for your kind guidance and see you.

Strolling at an altitude of almost 4000 metres, literally plunged us in cloud nine !!
Nepal has a reputation of wooing the visitors with its uncommon cultural diversity and beautiful landscapes. Of course, when we came here for trekking, we did expect some great fun and adventure. But Langtang Valley Trek offered us a lot more! It was like a subtle challenge that we overcame with abundant zeal, fun and yes, the cordial and supportive company of our guide and a representative from Marron Treks. Strolling at an altitude of almost 4000 metres, literally plunged us in cloud nine. Opposite to what we had expected, the villages along the way were admirably clean. Although we did not have a good sleep every time, we appreciate the warm hospitality we received in the teahouses and hotels and the staffs’ effort to put us in comfort touched our hearts. Thanks to our crew for teaching us couple of good Nepali folk songs…we can’t help humming them every now and then. The farewell dinner was awesome. It catered us the combo of Nepali cuisines and diverse Nepali culture at the same time. We had unprecedented fun. Thanks to Marron Treks for making this trip so special and memorable. We would love to come to Nepal again and would always want Marron Treks to be our travel companion!!
