After landing at Paro International Airport, you will go through the immigration and customs procedures, after which meet our representative and your guide who will accompany you throughout your trip.
After lunch at Paro, you will proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive from Paro to Thimphu takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. The journey itself is a scenic one, passing through beautiful landscapes and traditional Bhutanese villages.
Upon reaching Thimphu, you will check into your hotel and start the tour visiting places like the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma (large Buddha statue), Tashichho Dzong (fortress-monastery), and the Thimphu Craft Market then back to hotel.
In the evening, you can explore the streets of Thimphu, try some delicious Bhutanese cuisine at local restaurants, or simply enjoy the serene surroundings of the capital city.
Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu (Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, you will drive back to Paro, where the trailhead for the Tiger’s Nest hike is located. The drive will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon reaching the trailhead, you’ll begin your trek to Taktsang Monastery. The hike is a moderately challenging one and takes about 2 to 3 hours each way, depending on your pace. The trail meanders through pine forests and offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley below.
About halfway up the trail, you’ll reach a tea house where you can take a rest, enjoy some refreshments, and admire the stunning scenery. After the invigorating hike, you’ll finally arrive at the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, which is an awe-inspiring sight. The monastery is perched on a steep cliff at an altitude of 3120 meters, and the views from this vantage point are simply spectacular.
After spending some time at Tiger’s Nest, you’ll begin your descent back to the trailhead then drive to Paro Rinpung in Paro town. If you have extra time in the evening, you can explore more of Paro, visit local handicraft shops, or take a stroll around the Paro River.

On the final day of your Bhutanese journey, bid farewell to Paro as you depart for your onward destination. Your guide and driver will transfer you to Paro International Airport for your departure flight.
