Panchase trekking with kids Highlights
Arrive in Kathmandu and one of our representatives will receive you and then transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. The rest of the time is free to explore the city where your hotel is located which is usually at Thamel – the popular tourist hub in Kathmandu where every needs and facilities for the tourist are located like hotels, pubs, restaurants, departmental stores, trek gear shops etc. Or you can simply rest at your hotel if you are jet lagged and get ready for an amazing Himalayan trek. Early in the morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a tourist bus. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, offering glimpses of rural life, terraced fields, and stunning views of the Himalayas (weather permitting). The drive is around 200 kilometers (125 miles) long and usually takes between 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.
The bus will finally arrive at the tourist bus park in Pokhara and you will check-in hotel in Pokhara. The rest of the time is rest at hotel or you are free to explore Pokahra if you wish.
Option: You can choose to either take a private vehicle for Kathmandu/Pokhara drive or fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu (25 minutes flight) Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara (Breakfast)
On a brief boat ride across the stunning Lake Phewa, you will leave Pokhara. You'll start out with a quick ascent through a dense forest. You will eventually reach a set of stairs leading to the World Peace Pagoda. While the pagoda is a wonderful sight in, you can also get stunning views of Pokhara and Phewa Lake from here.
After some time, you will continue on a short climb through the woodland before climbing once again to join an open jeep trail that round the hill. You will then continue your trek through the Lukum Swara settlement before making your final ascent of the day up to the village of Bumdi where you will spend the night in a tea house/lodge. The day will start with an ascent through lovely woodland where you can continue to see the mountains through the trees. If you enjoy nature, get your camera ready because you'll hear and see a wide variety of birds, and if you're lucky, you might even see some monkeys!
The trail eventually merges with a gravel road where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains in the area. Even three 8,000-meter peaks, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manalsu, are visible in the distance. After that, you will continue on the jeep trail until you reach Panchase Bhanjyang for the overnight stay. Overnight at Lodge at Panchase Bhanjyang (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
You will reach Panchase Hill's peak today. This is the highest point of your trip at 2,500 meters, and you are rewarded with stunning mountain vistas. If you get up very early, you can see the sun rising over the mountains, illuminating their peaks in a golden light.
You will continue to descend to the village of Alldanda on the opposite side of the hill, where you will have lunch, after stopping to take in the views. Soon Bhadaure is reached where you will spent the night at local lodge. Overnight at Lodge at Bhadaure (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Today, your trek will take you from Bhadaure to the famous viewpoint of Sarangkot, which offers breathtaking sunrise and mountain views. After breakfast start your trek where the trail meanders through picturesque forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. As you ascend, enjoy the changing landscapes and views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Keep an eye out for wildlife, as the region is home to various bird species and sometimes even larger mammals like monkeys. After 4 to 5 hours of trekking, you'll reach Sarangkot. Sarangkot is renowned for its stunning sunrise and sunset views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Spend the late afternoon exploring Sarangkot. The village is a popular destination for paragliding, so you may see paragliders soaring above you. Check-in to a teahouse or lodge in Sarangkot for your overnight stay. Today, you'll conclude your trekking adventure and travel back to Pokhara from Sarangkot. Wake up early in the morning to witness the magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges from Sarangkot's viewpoint. After watching sunrise, return to your lodge for breakfast. Then bid farewell to Sarangkot and its stunning views as you prepare to descend to Pokhara by overland drive. In Pokhara you'll have the afternoon free to relax and explore Pokhara at your leisure. You can visit the Phewa Lake, visit local markets, or relax by the lakeside with beautiful mountain views. After breakfast drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara by a tourist bus retracing the same highway route which you took earlier. Upon reaching Kathmandu, check-in hotel and the rest of the time is free to explore or rest. In the evening is Farewell Dinner at one of the authentic Nepali Restaurant with a cultural show.

The trip concludes and our office representatives will take you to the international airport in Kathmandu to catch your onward flight to your next destination or fly back home. You need to be at least 3 hours prior to your flight time at the airport.

During the trek, you will be accommodated in a Tea House/ Lodge or Trekking Inn. Most of these lodges and teahouses cater good services and are equipped with modern amenities. We will endeavor to provide you the best accommodation available along the route so that you get a good night’s rest in a hygienic milieu.
Meals
We never compromise with the quality of food and the health of the trekkers as well as the crew members. Generally, we opt for the fresh and nutritional local community food available in the Annapurna Region. You could make your delicious pick from an array of traditional food like Sweet Potato, Buck Wheat Barley etc. . This way, you could not only get the real sense of the local culture and life patterns but also contribute to promoting the locally available resources of organic food and beverages.
