Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take this day to rest or explore the city on your own. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m/40 min)
Wake up early in the morning and drive to the domestic section of the airport in Kathmandu for a flight to Lukla. After checking the weather it’s flight from Kathmandu to Lukla at Tenzing Hillary Airport. You will have a packed breakfast from the hotel which can be eaten while waiting for the plane at Kathmandu airport. After a 40-45-minute flight from Kathmandu, you will finally land at Lukla. Overnight at Lodge in Lukla (Breakfast)
Day 03: Everest heli tour & back to Lukla (2840m)
The fun begins from here after you take off from Lukla airport and fly to the Everest Base Camp past the EBC trek trail. Below down passes Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche and finally reach Everest Base Camp. Your helicopter captain points out all the mountains that come into view such as Cho-Oye, AmaDablam etc. Fly past Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier.
After Everest Base Camp fly to Kala Patthar (5550m) and land which will be around 10-15 minutes as the helicopter can’t stay much longer at the higher altitude. Mt. Everest is seen much closer from Kala Patthar including other world’s highest peaks. After some photographic opportunities, fly back to Lukla for an overnight stay. Overnight at Lodge in Lukla (Breakfast)
Day 04: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1400m/40min) & Bhaktapur/Nagarkot (2175m) tour
Bid farewell to the Everest region and the mountain, and take again the trans-Himalayan flight back to Kathmandu to Lukla. The Himalayas slowly fade from your plane window screen and finally land at the airport in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, drive to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur, also known is a medieval city renowned for its well-preserved architecture, artwork, and rich cultural heritage. Explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to numerous temples, palaces, and courtyards adorned with exquisite woodcarvings and statues.
After exploring Bhaktapur, you'll head to Nagarkot renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on clear days. In the evening witness the sunset over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. Overnight at Hotel in Nagarkot (Breakfast)
Day 05: Drive to Kathmandu & Sightseeing
Enjoy the last glimpses of the stunning mountain vistas as you leave Nagarkot behind. The route from Nagarkot to Kathmandu offers picturesque views of the surrounding hills, terraced fields, and rural villages. Your first stop is Patan Durbar Square with it’s intricately carved temples, palaces, and courtyards that reflect the Newari architecture and craftsmanship.
Next, proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will observe devotees performing rituals and prayers along the banks of the Bagmati River, which flows beside the temple.
After Pashupatinath, head to Boudhanath, one of the largest and most important Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Take a leisurely stroll around the stupa, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere and observing pilgrims performing kora (circumambulation) around it.
Your final stop for the day is Swayambhunath, another iconic Buddhist stupa situated atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Explore the temple complex, which includes various shrines, monasteries, and statues, as well as resident monkeys roaming freely. Then back to hotel in Kathmandu. Day 06: Final Departure
The trip concludes and our office representatives will take you to the international airport in Kathmandu to catch your onward flight to your next destination or fly back home. You need to be at least 3 hours before your flight time at the airport.
