Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative outside the airport and transferred to your hotel. Once you reach your hotel, check-in and take some time to rest and freshen up after your journey. Kathmandu's energy can be quite overwhelming, so starting your exploration well-rested is a good idea. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at Luxury Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840m/40min) & trek to Phakding (2610m/3 – 4 hrs)

Early in the morning fly to Lukla from Kathmandu. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is a thrilling experience as you fly amidst the stunning Himalayan peaks and valleys. The flight duration is approximately 45 minutes. Your trek begins upon landing at Lukla airport and descend through rhododendron and pine forests. The trail offers beautiful views of the Dudh Koshi River and surrounding landscapes. Soon Phakding is reached where you'll spend the night. Phakding is a picturesque village with teahouses, lodges, and views of the mountains. Overnight at Luxury Lodge in Phakding (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Note: Flights from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu to Lukla may be rerouted to Manthali during the peak trekking seasons of March, April, May, September, October, and November due to increased air traffic congestion. Manthali is 5 hours drive from Kathmandu and we need to start at 12.30am for  Kathmandu/Manthali drive to catch the flight to Lukla from Manthali. During December, January, February, June, July, or August, you will experience a direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/5 – 6 hrs)

After breakfast start the trek where the trail from Phakding to Namche Bazaar follows the Dudh Koshi River as it meanders through lush forests and traditional villages. You'll cross several suspension bridges, including the high suspension bridge at Larja Dobhan. The trail gradually ascends as you make your way through Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you'll catch glimpses of Everest (if weather permits) and other magnificent peaks.

Take a break for lunch at a teahouse along the trail. As you approach Namche Bazaar, the trail becomes steeper and you'll face a challenging uphill climb. Arrive at Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town and a major trading hub in the Everest region. The town is set against the backdrop of the stunning Kongde Ri and Thamserku peaks. Day 04: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar, hike to Everest view hotel (3900m) 3-4 hours

Today is rest/acclimatization day at Namche. Take a hike to the Hotel Everest View, located at an altitude of 3,880 meters (12,729 feet). The hotel is famous for its incredible views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding peaks. Reach the Hotel Everest View and take some time to soak in the stunning scenery. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while basking in the beauty of the Himalayan giants.

After spending some time at the hotel, continue your hike to an Everest view point, which offers an even closer and more expansive view of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks. Capture the breathtaking landscapes through your camera lens and make memories of this awe-inspiring experience. After thoroughly enjoying the views, start your descent back to Namche Bazaar. Day 05: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860m) 5 hours

Start the trek to Tengboche from Namche where the path winds through forests, offering glimpses of the towering peaks around you. After a few hours of trekking, you'll reach Phunki Tenga, a small village. This is a good spot to take a break and have some refreshments. From Phunki Tenga, the trail ascends through rhododendron forests and opens up to panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and more. Soon Tengboche is arrived, a picturesque village with the stunning Tengboche Monastery as its centerpiece. This monastery is one of the most important in the region and offers a glimpse into the spiritual and cultural aspects of the area. Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m) 5 hours

Begin your trek towards Dingboche. The trail gradually descends through rhododendron and pine forests, offering a pleasant start to the day. You will pass through the villages of Debuche and Pangboche, each with its own charm and cultural significance. The trail provides views of Ama Dablam and other peaks. Stop for lunch at a teahouse along the trail. After lunch, you'll pass by the Pangboche Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region. The trail gradually ascends as you approach Dingboche. The landscapes change as you gain altitude, with more alpine vegetation and rocky terrain. Soon the village of Dingboche is reacehd, situated in a wide valley with stunning views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Day 07: Rest Day In Dingboche; Hike to Chhukung (4730m) & back to Dingboche (4410m/3-4 hrs)

As the altitude increases it’s important to get better acclimatization so it’s rest/acclimatization day at Dingboche. You can rest at your lodge or there are several side excursions like a hike to Nangkar Tshang Peak, with its sacred sites and views of Mt Makalu. Or hike to Chhukung (4,730 m) which provides majestic views of Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and Mt. Choyo. You will also notice Imja Khola Valley as well the fields and pastures of Dingboche. Afterward, back to the lodge at Dingboche.

Day 08: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) 5 hours

Today the trail gradually ascends through alpine landscapes, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After a few hours of walking, you'll reach the small settlement of Thukla, also known as Dughla. This is a common resting point for trekkers and a good place for a break. Just before Thukla, you'll find a memorial area dedicated to climbers and mountaineers who have lost their lives in the Everest region. The trail continues relatively flat, passing along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The terrain becomes rockier as you approach Lobuche. Day 09: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5400m) & return Gorak Shep 7 hours

Begin your hike towards Everest Base Camp. The trail is rocky and challenging, but the sense of achievement and the stunning views along the way make it worth the effort. The first part of the hike takes you to Gorak Shep, a small settlement at about 5,164 meters. Then continue your trek to Everest Base Camp. The trail winds through the Khumbu Glacier and offers surreal views of the surrounding mountains. Reaching Base Camp is an incredible achievement and a dream come true for many trekkers. Spend some time at Everest Base Camp, taking in the atmosphere and capturing the moment with photographs. You'll be surrounded by the Himalayan giants, including Everest itself. After enjoying the experience of being at Everest Base Camp, make your way back to Gorak Shep for the night. The return journey might feel easier as you descend. . Day 10: Trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5550m) back to Gorek Shep & fly to Kathmandu

Start early today to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas from Kala patthar which is the most popular Himalayan viewpoint in Khumbu providing 360-degree Himalayan panorama including Mt. Everest.

The hike up to Kala Patthar is not that long but steep, rocky, and very challenging. Upon reaching it’s top you will be rewarded with the most spectacular Himalayan panorama of the peaks like Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Pumori, and more.

Afterward, retrace your way back to Gorekshep for breakfast where your private chartered helicopter will be waiting for you to fly back to Kathmandu. En route observe the Everest trail which you trek before and finally land at Kathmandu then transfer to hotel.
In the evening is farewell dinner at one of the Nepali authentic restaurant with company staff and later on back to hotel.

Day 11: Final Departure

Today is the day you bid farewell to Nepal and head back home. If you have some time before your departure, you might want to do some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We shall transfer you to the airport and you need to be three hours before your flight time. As you board your flight, take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey you've had in Nepal. Meals

Generally, we opt for the fresh and nutritional local community food available in the Everest Region. You could make your delicious pick from an array of traditional food like Sweet Potato, Buck Wheat Barley etc. . This way, you could not only get the real sense of the local culture and life patterns but also contribute to promoting the locally available resources of organic food and beverages. Any Experience Required?
There is nothing hard and fast rule about trekking experience. Any adventure enthusiast, with a generic physical aptitude can definitely relish the thrill of this trek.

 

Difficulties
Difficulty here is actually synonymous to ‘high altitude’. As this trek involves some seriously high altitude climbing above 5000 meters, one is likely to experience some problem in breathing owing to the deteriorating oxygen level. But as this is something which is anticipated, we do have enough precautionary measures to tackle it.
