Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative who shall then transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Check in to your hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up. If you have free time you can use this time to relax and adjust to the new surroundings.
In the afternoon or evening, venture out to explore Thamel, a vibrant neighborhood in Kathmandu popular among tourists. Thamel is known for its narrow streets, colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants. Take a stroll, browse through the shops, and soak in the lively atmosphere. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants, trying out traditional Nepali cuisine or international dishes.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, your city guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby. Start your day by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient royal palace complex, admire the intricately carved temples, and marvel at the historical architecture. Don’t miss the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), and the Taleju Temple.
After Kathmandu Durbar Square, head to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Located on a hilltop, Swayambhunath offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. Day 3: Nagarkot Sunrise & Bhaktapur tour
Wake up early in the morning and depart from your hotel in Kathmandu to Nagarkot, a scenic hill station located approximately 32 kilometers east of the capital. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.
Reach Nagarkot before sunrise to secure a good spot for witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. Day 4: Bungmati, Khokana & Patan Durbar square
Drive towards the villages of Bungmati and Khokana. These villages are located in the southern part of the Kathmandu Valley, approximately 9 kilometers from the city.
Bungmati is a traditional Newari village known for its preserved cultural heritage. Take a walk through the narrow alleys lined with old Newari houses and observe the traditional way of life. Visit the famous Rato Machhindranath Temple, dedicated to the rain god. Explore the local shops to find handicrafts and local products.
From Bungmati, proceed to Khokana, another charming Newari village nearby. Khokana is renowned for its traditional oil-pressing industry. Visit the Khokana Oil Mill, where you can see the age-old technique of extracting oil from mustard seeds using traditional wooden presses. Explore the village and its unique architecture.
Then head to Patan Durbar Square, located in the city of Lalitpur (also known as Patan). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its rich history and exquisite Newari architecture. Day 5: Dakshinkali -Kirtipur-Pharping Monastery
After breakfast drive towards Dakshinkali Temple. The temple is located approximately 22 kilometers south of Kathmandu and is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali.

Day 6: Dhulikhel & Namobuddha
Drive towards Dhulikhel, a beautiful hill station located approximately 30 kilometers east of the capital. The journey takes about an hour, and along the way, you’ll enjoy picturesque views of the countryside and the Himalayan ranges.
Upon arrival in Dhulikhel take some time to explore the town. Dhulikhel offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including peaks like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Dorje Lakpa. Take a leisurely walk through the town’s narrow streets, visit local temples, and soak in the serene atmosphere. Dhulikhel is also known for its traditional Newari houses and rich cultural heritage.
Take a break for lunch at one of the local restaurants in Dhulikhel. Enjoy the panoramic views while savoring delicious Nepali cuisine or other options available.
After lunch, drive to Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site situated on a hilltop. According to legend, it is the place where Buddha, in a previous life, sacrificed himself to feed a hungry tigress and her cubs. Visit the Namobuddha Monastery and pay your respects at the stupa. Hike to Balthali Village (Optional): If you’re up for some light hiking, you can consider hiking from Namobuddha to Balthali Village. The trail takes you through terraced fields, forests, and traditional villages, offering glimpses of rural life in Nepal. Balthali Village is known for its tranquil environment and beautiful landscapes. Enjoy the natural beauty, interact with the locals, and experience the rural charm.
After exploring Namobuddha and Balthali Village (if you choose to hike), return to Kathmandu in the late afternoon or early evening. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps indulging in some shopping.

Day 7: Final Departure
Take the morning to relax and enjoy your final moments in Nepal. You can use this time to pack your belongings, reflect on your experiences, or do some last-minute souvenir shopping. Depending on your flight departure time, check out from your hotel and make sure all your belongings are in order. You need to check in at the airport previously three hours before your flight time.
