Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu-Trishuli rafting-Kathmandu
Start your day early in the morning to leave Kathmandu for Charaudi or another starting point along the Trishuli River. The drive from Kathmandu to the rafting starting point takes around 2-3 hours, depending on the location and traffic conditions.
Upon reaching the rafting put-in point, you’ll meet your rafting guide and receive a safety briefing. The guide will explain paddling techniques, safety procedures, and what to expect during the rafting adventure.
Once you’re all set and geared up with safety equipment, it’s time to hit the water! The Trishuli River offers a mix of exciting rapids, ranging from Class II to III during normal water flow. The river provides an enjoyable and moderately challenging experience, suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters. As you paddle downstream, you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery, including lush valleys, terraced fields, and picturesque villages. The river also offers some thrilling rapids that will get your adrenaline pumping, and you can expect to enjoy a few splashy and exciting moments along the way.
After a few hours of rafting, you’ll stop for a well-deserved lunch break on the banks of the Trishuli River. Enjoy a delicious and freshly prepared meal while soaking in the natural beauty of the river surroundings.
After lunch, continue your rafting journey downstream, encountering more rapids and enjoying the thrill of the river. The rafting trip typically concludes at another point along the river, from where you’ll drive back to Kathmandu.

- All necessary fees, Government/Local taxes and conservation area fees.
What is not included?
- Any type of personal expenditure such as Alcoholic beverages and drinks, phone, and laundry.
- Rescue & insurance such as travel, cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. You are advised to insure for it.
