Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur (40 min) & drive to Darjeeling (2045m/3-4 hrs drive)
Day 4: Explore Darjeeling (2045m)
Day 5: Day to Excursions Mirik (1494m/5-6 hrs)
Day 6: Drive to Bhadrapur (3-4 hrs) & fly to Kathmandu (1300m/40 min)
Day 7: Final Departure
Arrive in Kathmandu and one of our representatives will receive you and then transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. The rest of the time is free to explore the city where your hotel is located which is usually at Thamel – the popular tourist hub in Kathmandu where every needs and facilities for the tourist are located like hotels, pubs, restaurants, departmental stores, trek gear shops etc. Or you can simply rest at your hotel if you are jet lagged and get ready for an amazing Himalayan Journey.
After breakfast, you have a full day to explore the city and its cultural treasures. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel then your city guide shall meet you at the hotel’s lobby to start up the tour. Head to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. Located atop a hill, Swayambhunath offers panoramic views of the city and is considered one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Nepal.
Then proceed to Patan Durbar Square, located in the city of Lalitpur, just south of Kathmandu. This ancient square is known for its well-preserved Newari architecture, palaces, temples, and courtyards. Explore the Krishna Mandir, the Patan Museum, and the various temples and sculptures within the square.
Next, visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal and an important pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Shiva. Afterward, proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then back to your hotel.
Fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to the border town of Kakarbhita in West Bengal, India. Then our representatives will meet you then transfer to Darjeeling. The journey takes around 3-4 hours, offering scenic views of the countryside and the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or accommodation in Darjeeling. Evening is free for leisure. You can explore the local markets or enjoy the serene ambiance of Darjeeling.
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayas. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga and other peaks. Visit Ghoom Monastery, known for its ancient Tibetan Buddhist artifacts and the Maitreya Buddha statue. After breakfast explore Batasia Loop and the War Memorial, offering scenic vistas and historical insights into Darjeeling's past.
Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to endangered species like the Red Panda and Snow Leopard. Then back to hotel.
Drive to Mirik, a serene hill station known for its scenic beauty and Sumendu Lake. Enjoy boating and leisure time amidst nature. Visit Pashupati Nagar, a nearby market famous for inexpensive shopping. Then drive back to Darjeeling.
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and drive back to Bhadrapur Airport for your return flight to Kathmandu, carrying cherished memories of your Darjeeling tour.
The trip concludes and our office representatives will take you to the international airport in Kathmandu to catch your onward flight to your next destination or fly back home. You need to be at least 3 hours before your flight time at the airport.
