SnowLeopard Tracking in Tilicho

For the first time in Nepal, Marron Treks is organizing the rare and almost extinct snow leopard tracking activity. You are all invited in this adventurous and exciting trip as this opportunity would not only give you experience of trekking but also be a part of your study as per the habitat of this wild specimen. With the leading experts in the field of tracking this rare species, Marron Treks family is sure to make this trip as tantalizing and as exciting as possible. So let’s join together for this adventurous journey of a life time.

This expedition is going to run around Tilicho region. We start our journey of trekking from Bahundanda and mostly walk across dry and dusty hill towns. The snow capped mountains glee at us along our way in the journey. There are certain areas that are prone for finding the snow leopards and we’ll be camping on those areas with our gadgets in order to view this animal. Due to encroachment of such animals, they are in the verge of extinction. So Marron Treks Pvt. Ltd will also be doing some reasonable awareness programs for the locals against encroachment of such habitat.

NOTE: On adventure trips of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered if alterations are necessary the leader will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays.
