Paragliding in Nepal

These is our 4 Day Package where you will get lifetime experience during 30 to 45 minutes flight. If you can not manage two days for this hair-rising sport, the tandem flight is also available. Pilot will give you some explanation about the flight and he will also allow some hands-on control of the glider.

You can enjoy the beautiful scene of the mountains by the short flight from Sarangkot. You could also enjoy the beauty of Annapurna range and splendid landscapes around Pokhara valley, virgin Mt.Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Lamjung Himal, Annapaurna Himal, Himchuli, Fewa Lake, Rice field, Rivers and settlements are below gives you thrills with a great photographic opportunity. Fly once in Pokhara, that definitely will one of be your best experiences in your life.
 

Marron’s Paragliding Package
Sarangkot is best known as the perfect place in Nepal where we will drive there early in the morning. You will be briefed about the flight by the expert and professional pilot upon arrival there. After an hour’s exciting flight, you will see breathtaking views of Annapurna Range, beautiful Mt. Fish Tail, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, Mt. Manaslu and great Mt. Dhaulagiri together with landscape panorama and Fewa Lake.
 
OUTLINE ITINERARY
 
Day 01: Drive or flight to Pokhara. O/n in hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Sarangkot to catch the Paragliding flight.

Day 03: Pokhara city sightseeing. O/n in hotel.

Day 04: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and free.


Day 01: Drive or flight to Pokhara
You can choose either 5-6 hours drive or around 25 minute’s flight to reach Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara you are transfer to your designated hotel. Rest time will be your own relaxing time for your own excursion.
 
Day 02: Drive to Sarangkot to catch the Paragliding flightSarangkot  in Nepal
In the morning, after breakfast drive to Sarangkot (1592m) Paragliding spot. After arrival on the spot, briefing about flying by expert & professional pilot will be given. During a hour of exiting flight, you could have breathe taking panorama views of Annapurna Range, beautiful Mt. Fish Tail, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, Mt. Manashlu and great Mt. Dhaulagiri together with landscape panorama and Fewa Lake. After landing, transfer to hotel and rest or join the further program according to your itinerary.
 
Day 03: Sightseeing in Pokhara. O/n in hotel
After breakfast, transfer for full day sightseeing around Pokhara city. The highlighted places are David Falls, Lake Side, Internal Mountaineering Museum Mahendra Cave, Fewa Lake, Barahi Temple.
 
Day 04: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu
Free time till your departure time to Kathmandu. Drive or flight back to Kathmandu and free for your own excursion. In the evening, a typical Nepali dinner is hosted you in Nepali Restaurant.

Accommodation:
During Paragliding in Nepal we accomodate you in 3 star or 5 star hotels like Base Camp Resort (3 Star), Mt. Kailash (3 star) , Fishtail Lodge (5 star) , Shangrila Village (5 star) or similar in Pokhara city
 
Meals:
We arrange the best quality food for all visitors while Paragliding in Nepal. We could arrange Continental, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine like Pizza, Spaghetti, French Fries, Soups, Breads etc based upon your requirement.But it would be great if you  prefer  to use the local foods that would help you to interact with the local peoples and to know the rich culture of Nepal.

Clothing and equipments Accessories for Tea House and Camping Treks
The equipments and clothing list below is for a relatively longer trek involving a cold high altitude destination in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. If you are doing a short trek to a relatively lower altitude you may not need all these. The list below is for a guideline alone, you may have your own check list as well. Duffle Bag and a good sleeping bag will by provided by Marron Treks P.Ltd, which you should return after completion of your trip. Please note that most of the trekking items are easily available for buying or renting in Nepal and you are suggested not to bring unnecessary items with you.
