The lavish spree kicks off with a sightseeing tour of the flamboyant capital of Nepal- Kathmandu. Cruising on a posh cab, you will be exploring the famed historical, cultural and religious landmarks herein. In the accompaniment of an experienced city guide, you will know these heritages like you know yourself. From the “very lively” Kathmandu, you are catapulted to another fascinating lake city cum a tourist hotspot. A meager 25 minutes’ scenic flight gets you to Pokhara, boisterously poised affront the fascinating backdrop of Fishtail and Annapurna range. A chain of mesmerizing tranquil lakes and some antique temples are akin to the ornaments of Pokhara. Our tour now gets more luxurious, as we wobble up on a chopper to visit the Annapurna Base Camp. The views from the top are captivating and they even get better as we land at the snow-clad premises of the base camp. The heli flight continues as we rattle towards the humid plains of Chitwan. An array of jungle adventures in the Chitwan National Park keep us pumped up all day. In the evening we entertain ourselves with a unique cultural show of the indigenous “Tharu” people. After that peppy night at Chitwan, our snuggly and opulent tour wraps up with a flight back to Kathmandu.  Throughout the tour, you will be accommodated in one the best city hotels.

Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, the only international airport in Nepal.Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Once you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by a representative from Marron Treks and then transferred to  Gokarna Forest Resort. Gokarna Forest Resort, the only golf resort of Nepal is located just about a few minutes drive from the airport in a quite suburb in Kathmandu. The resort is set amidst the lush greenery of Gokarna Forest, the traditional hunting ground of the former Nepalese Royals. Poised at one of the serene corners of the resort is 'The Hunter's Lodge' which used to night halt spot of the "Shikaris" ( the hunting squad) accompanying the Royals their hunting trips to Gokarna Forest. The building is over a hundred and twenty years old. This meticulously preserved hoary building has now partially been transformed into a quaint restaurant cum bar. Apart from a class- apart accommodation, the resort also features a spa and an international standard golf course. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast included.


Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing (1400m)Kathmandu Durbar Square, the UNESCO world heritage site in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Kathmandu, the historical and cultural heart of Nepal, has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to international visitors. The city presents an uncommon religious blend of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Christianity. There will be a half day guided tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, viz. the most sacred holy Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath - the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, and the medieval palace of the former Malla Kings at the Kathmandu Durbar Square.

After the sightseeing tour, you will be escorted to the 'Garden of Dreams' or 'Swapna Bagicha'. Amidst the chaos of Kathmandu, the Garden of Dreams (located at a stone's throw from the Thamel Square), opens up into a haven of peace and tranquility. A dream project of Field Marshal Keshar SJB Rana, this neo-classical garden was built in the 1920s. Rana erected six impressive freestanding pavilions, Garden of Dreams (located at a stone's throw from the Thamel Square) in Kathmandu, Nepal, opens up into a haven of peace and tranquility.each dedicated to one of the six seasons of Nepal. The pavilions served as the Garden's architectural framework , cosmopolitan ambience to the formal arrangements of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Unfortunately, of the original four acres and six pavilions (named after the six Nepali seasons), only 1.2 acres and three pavilions remain. This Edwardian style garden constitutes - paved perimeter paths, interposed by pavilions. Trellises literally environ a sunken flower garden, with a large pond at its center. Exquisite ensemble of fountains, pergolas, balustrades, urns, and statues embellish the premises. After exploring the Garden, we sit out to enjoy dinner at the Kaiser Restaurant, located at the corner of Basanta (Spring) Pavilion. Overnight at Gokarna Resort; breakfast included.

After that oppulent indulgence in Kathmandu yesterday, it is now time to sample another fascinating tourist city of Nepal. We savor the aristocratic breakfast at the Gokarna resort and drive on a private car to domestic wing of the Tribhuwan airport to board a flight to Pokhara. After a scenic 30 minutes on board, relishing the verdant landscapes and mountainous vistas, our aircraft touches down the runway at Pokhara. From Pokhara airport, you will be driven to the Fulbari Resort & Spa, one of the best resorts in South Asia. You can freshen up and relax at the resort or spend the time as you please.The Himalayan views from the resort are simply amazing. With a quality camera with you, you could just click wonders!!. Overnight at Fullbari Resort; breakfast included.

Savor the succulent breakfast at the resort, simultaneously relishing  the backdrop of the fascinating Himalayas. You will then be driven to the Pokhara airport, where a helicopter with an experienced pilot awaits you. Gear up for a thrilling helicopter flight  to the Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), one of the most favored trekking destinations in the world. The flight offers panoramic views of the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) Peak and Hiunchuli. As you leave Pokhara, the valley's lakes, namely Begnas, Rupa and Phewa, appear very akin to the scattered scintillating jewels from up above. The approach to Annapurna Base Camp unfolds a spectacular vista of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a high glacial basin flanked by the snowy peaks of Annapurna I, II, III and IV and the fish tail spire of Machhapuchhare. After landing at the Annapurna Base Camp, you will have time to explore and capture the fascinating environ in stills. Keep those clicks going...who knows, you could just get the shot of a lifetime! 

We then rattle back to Pokhara. Our post lunch activities include half day sightseeing ofRupa Lake or Rupa Tal is a freshwater lake in Nepal located in the south-east of Pokhara valley that includes Lekhnath municipality. Pokhara city. We drive about the city in a private car, visiting some of the most popular landmarks here like Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, Bindyabasini Temple, Phewa Lake, Rupa Lake & Begnas Lake. Provided that the time permits, we can also enjoy the boating at Phewa Lake. If you are of those pub freaks, you could sample a funky pub nearby and get the sense of what night life is like in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara; breakfast included.
 






Day 05: Fly from Pokhara to Chitwan on helicopter (150m/30min)

Another sizzling day on a thumping flying machine! Enjoying the fascinating environ, we have our last breakfast at Pokhara and then drive to the airport where a shiny chopper greets us. Enthusiastically, we mount on board as the "Whirlybird" takes off with a loud thump- thump. From the profound valley of Pokhara, we rattle towards the verdant humid plains of Chitwan, almost as flat as a pan cake!!  If you are wondering why on earth did we bring you to this steamingly hot terra firma, well, the reason is the Chitwan National Park which is a UNESCO Natural Heritage site and an abode to some of the most rarest species of wild life, viz.  the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, bear, wild boar, deer, bison, The unique 'Tharu Stick Dance', a part of Tharu Cultural show in Chitwan, Nepal.crocodiles etc. In about 30 minutes, our chopper touches down the Chitwan airport, from where we will be driven to "Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge", one of the oldest commercial jungle lodges in Nepal. The lodge advocates environment friendly and sustainable tourism. We are greeted with welcome drinks, after which we attend a brief orientation session regarding the activities to follow. You can check in to your room and relax for some time. After lunch, our half day Chitwan adventure commences. Today, it is going to be more of a cultural tour. We go about visiting the “Tharu” village. “Tharus” are the indigenous people here, so interacting with them could be a great fun. Most of the Tharus speak their own language but they understand a great deal of Nepali language too. So your guide will be able to help you to interpret the conversation. From Tharu village, we head on towards the river, to relish the splendid sunset view. In the evening, we witness an enticing cultural show of the Tharus that includes their very unique “stick dance” Overnight at hotel in Chitwan on full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) basis with jungle activities.


Day 06: Jungle activities at Chitwan National ParkEnjoying the

Get seriously intimate with the wild!! Our sweet slumber at the resort breaks with a wake- up call, coupled with steaming cup of tea/coffee. We then gear up for an array of jungle activities at the Chitwan National Park. Let’s begin with a comfy ride on the cushiony back of the mammoth. Piercing the heart of the jungle, you might find yourself freakishly close to many of the wild beasts out there; well, you could get a little shaky, but don’t worry, being on the top of the huge pachyderm, you are as safe as heaven. We have our pack lunch somewhere in the woods, amidst the twittering birds, swaying trees and prowling animals; something really different compared to the conventional milieu of our regular lunch table. At one time we will be riding on a growling jeep, while at other time we find ourselves on a boat cruising Royal Bengal Tiger, one of the major attractions of the Chitwan National Park, Nepal.smoothly on the quiet waters of the park. Our eyes hungrily catch glimpse of every single component visible around the massive frontier of the park; be it a scary king cobra, a stout one- horned rhino, a rugged mugger crocodile or a graceful Bengal tigress!  Not just that, an array of exotic floras and beautiful birds are certainly going to woo you. We also visit the Elephant Breeding Center. A dugout canoe ride is also on the cards. This gives us a profound idea about the habitat of the king of the waters- the crocodiles!  Besides, a subtle jungle walk could also be very soothing. Thus, an adventure packed day comes to an end. Overnight at hotel in Chitwan on full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) basis with jungle activities.

Early morning wake up call, followed by tea/coffee.  Spotting birds is best during the morning. So we make the most of it, taking a quick hike into the jungle to behold these beautiful aviators. After this little "you and me time" with birds, we walk back to our lodge, where a delicious breakfast awaits us.  We pacify our hungry belly, quickly pack our stuff and drive to the Chitwan airport to board a flight back to Kathmandu. Once we land at the domestic wing of the Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to your hotel (5-star category). The remaining time is on your own. You would perhaps want to get indulged in some souvenir shopping at Thamel. We bet, you have had an awesome trip. So in course of relating some intersting trip anecdotes with your friends and loved ones, you might also want to surprise them with some mementos from Nepal !  To make your last night in Nepal special, Marron Treks will host a farewell dinner, featuring a range of traditional Nepali cuisines cum a live cultural show. Enjoy the dinner, pack/prepare yourself for a flight back home and have a beauty sleep. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu; breakfast and dinner included.



Day 08: Final departure to your homeland or onward destinationTribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Unless you would want to extend your trip and try out some of our other adventurous packages like Bungy Jumping, Mountain Biking, Jungle Safari, White Water Rafting, Golfing & Paragliding etc., this will be your last day in Nepal. A representative from Marron Treks will escort you to the airport for the final departure to your homeland. Have a safe flight back home. Please let us know about your desire for trip extension so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
